Subject: RUSTOM TIRANDAZ
Dear All
It is indeed a very tragic day for the Parsi community when
we learnt today that Rustom Tirandaz is no more in our midst.
He died of a massive heart attack on his way to the hospital.
The Paidast is scheduled for this afternoon (1545 hours) at the
Albless Bungli.
As many will know, Rustom was the most vociferous of the BPP
Trustees and did not hesitate to call a spade a spade. We should
all pray that Ahura Mazda & Sarosh Yazad guide his soul to
Garothman Behst. R.I.P.
I do hope that at least now the bias Parsi press and others will try
and understand how their actions can affect the health and lives
of the BPP Trustees.
I sincerely pray that sense will prevail and the BPP Trustees will
be allowed to carry on the work stated in each of their manifestos
for the betterment of our religion and our Parsi/Irani community.

Yasmine, no point in blaming the press. When your time is up, it is up! Rustom served the corporation and the community well. He was my friend for last 50 years since we were together in boys Scouts of the 100th Bombay Homavazir troop. He was always helpful to all communities and was a straight as only a Parsi can be and totally un-corrupt. That is why so many, from all walks of life, came to his home and the funeral and also held a public meeting in his honor in Wadala-Matunga. Ardeshir
